MEET MORGAN
Experienced Sitter
Morgan Anderson has a profound appreciation for the stunning landscapes of Beautiful British Columbia, evident through her outdoor pursuits year-round. Originally from Smithers, she returned to her hometown in 2017 with her husband, Tyler Anderson, following several years in southern BC. With a century-long family history in the Bulkley Valley, her roots in the region are deeply ingrained. Tyler, who hails from Salt Spring Island, often joins Morgan in their outdoor explorations and even partakes in overnight pet sitting adventures. Their family recently welcomed a new addition, a baby girl who will share in Morgan's house sitting ventures. A dedicated explorer, gardener, and fervent animal enthusiast, Morgan takes pleasure in foraging for wild berries, particularly wild blueberries. Beyond her personal endeavors, the couple converted a full-size school bus into a charming tiny home, reflecting Morgan's minimalistic principles and her commitment to a well-kept space. Morgan's compassionate nature extends to animal rescue, where she frequently rescues and finds loving homes for kittens, both locally in Smithers and even in the lower mainland. Her own household comprises four cats, along with meat rabbits and six chickens. Though her equestrian pursuits have temporarily paused due to her growing family, she boasts a 15-year history operating Tails and Trails—a venture encompassing dog walking, boarding, and house sitting. Morgan has seamlessly blended her business with her travels across BC, gaining invaluable experience and insights from an array of unique dogs. Her dedication has expanded her scope to care for diverse animals, all while actively seeking further knowledge. Morgan's innate ability to connect with animals is evidenced through her intuitive grasp of animal behavior, making her a skilled communicator across species. Her knack for swiftly bonding with new dogs, particularly strong breeds, sets her apart and underscores her exceptional approach to animal care and companionship.

DOGGY DAYCARE
We are no longer offering Doggy Daycare services at this time.
We were extremely lucky to get put in touch with Morgan fairly soon after we moved to Smithers. Our Rotti rescue isn't a huge fan of people and suffers quite a bit of anxiety in unfamiliar situations. We don't like to bring him with us on trips away from home because it causes him too much anxiety. Before we met Morgan we tried some other people and it just wasn't the right fit. Riggsy absolutely adores Morgan, and their adventures. Morgan is the only person we trust to leave Riggsy with and she's been such a life saver for our family - between daily adventures, house/pet sitting and she even helped us out in a couple of emergency situations and really went above and beyond. She's been available for us on short notice more than once and is just generally a great person to know if you've got a pup that needs someone patient and experienced with large breeds with psychological issues. She also puts on a brave face and sleeps under the same roof as our psycho cat when she's house/pet sitting and everyone made it out alive - 10/10 would recommend Morgan for both dog walking adventures and pet sitting. If I wasn't so happy that Riggsy found someone he loves to be with when he's not with us and that I trust with him- I would probably be jealous of how excited he gets when she comes to see him.

Morgan was available and reliable! She is very confident with dogs and our puppies loved her! It is evident that she loves working with animals..... I know it is challenging to walk your dogs as much as they need. I recommend her as a great supplement for this on a regular basis. I will definitely be requesting her services again!

Morgan walks our dog regularly and recently watched her for 10 days while we were away on vacation. She did an excellent job and our dog absolutely loves her. We really trust Morgan's ability, and she treats our girl the best. I would highly recommend Morgan for anyone who needs someone they can rely on and trust to give your pet the best care.

Morgan took our dog Gilly for many walks while living here on Salt Spring Island. Gilly always came home happy and exercised. Morgan also was our trusted go to for overnight care. I would highly recommend Morgan for your pet walking needs.
